The Main View, which sits on the main street of the quaint rural downtown, shifted ownership recently from its longtime owners to new life with a local businessman.
The new owner is Aaron Murray of Eel River Hospitality, who took over after Robert and Karen Fawcett wanted to leave the hospitality business. Murray has almost three decades in retail management and is a business advisor to another local restaurant and lounge in the Mizpah Shrine Center.
“My focus will be to continue to be known as a strong community member, to build upon the established reputation and brand of The Main View, offering quality food made with quality ingredients, and delivered with a consistent service experience,” Murray said in a news release.
The restaurant will now be open for lunch and is expanding its dinner hours. It also will allow for carry-out and dine-in orders and be equipped to provide catering.
The release said some long-term employees will continue to work under the new ownership.
