Fire Dawgs branches into the Northeast with acquisition

The company, Junk Bear, will keep its branding, leadership and staff but will now be owned and operated by Fire Dawgs as the parent company.
Junk Bear has 12 employees, and the acquisition brings Fire Dawgs’ total employee headcount to 77.
Fire Dawgs Junk Removal CEO Bennett Grove said the partnership will be mutually beneficial.
“Partnering with them and supporting their growth will provide career opportunities for current and future team members within both companies,” he said. “This partnership is also the beginning of a unique approach to expanding our national footprint while providing an exciting alternative for independent junk removal operators across the country considering different paths for growth.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Indiana company also recently bought Columbus, Ohio-based Junk N More in July. Fire Dawgs said it will now have 12 junk removal operations in three regions.
