Statement from Community Health Network
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Eskenazi Health and Community Health Network have determined that a comprehensive integration of the two health systems faces complex federal tax laws and regulations that govern the bond structures of each system and present unique challenges to full integration. After careful examination, the resolution of tax and bond issues would create such a cumbersome and complex structure that it outweighs the advantages of full integration at this time. Community and Eskenazi will continue current collaborations, such as behavioral care and trauma, and expand them as appropriate to meet the needs of our patients.
