ZeroCarb Lyfe announced this week that it’s new snack product, Lyfe Chips, has launched at all 16 Fresh Thyme Market locations in Indiana.
The company’s pizza crusts are made from four main ingredients: chicken breast, olive oil, salt and spices. Similarly, the new Lyfe Chips, which come in House and BBQ flavors, are made from 100% chicken breasts, high oleic sunflower oil, salt, olive oil and spices.
“After numerous taste tests and recipe adjustments, we finally found the perfect recipe for Lyfe Chips,” Co-founder and CEO Omar Atia said in a news release. “Since our June 2023 launch, we have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from customers, athletes, and health-conscious individuals who appreciate our low-carb, high-protein, and gluten-free options.”
Like the pizza crusts, the chips are branded as gluten-free, diabetic-friendly, and keto-friendly.
Earlier this year, ZeroCarb Lyfe announced it had received an additional $3.2 million in seed funding, bringing its total amount to more than $5 million.
The company said it planned to use the funding to further its national expansion and fuel new food products. The partnership with Fresh Thyme is part of that growth.
“We chose to partner with Fresh Thyme Market because of their shared commitment to supporting local Indiana-based companies,” Atia said. “The partnership enables ZeroCarb LYFE to reach a wider audience of individuals seeking wholesome snack options.”
Atia has been attending the Rally Innovation Conference in downtown Indianapolis this week. As part of their ongoing coverage, our partners at the IBJ reported the company was looking to attract new investment and companies to carry its products.
“I believe we have a huge opportunity to showcase to the world that so much innovation, especially in foods, can happen here in Indiana,” Atia told IBJ reporter Mickey Shuey. “Rally is a chance for us to do that. And we believe in the vision that Elevate Ventures has, to bring people here to see these products, ultimately leading more people to come here on their own.”
