Indiana Foodways Alliance appoints new executive director

The statewide not-for-profit dedicated to preservation of Indiana food culture has named Tina Keaffaber of Warsaw as its executive director.
Keaffaber succeeds Lindsey Skeen, who has been with the organization since 2013 and served as executive director since February 2019. Skeen stepped down to become director of sales in the northern Indiana region for Fishers-based Recreation inSites, according to her LinkedIn page.
“Tina brings extensive experience in the nonprofit tourism industry, with statewide impact, resource development, and abundant energy and enthusiasm to advance the mission of IFA,” IFA President Kristal Painter said in a news release. “We look forward to working with her as we continue to build from the valued work and due diligence of Lindsey to build a stronger organization.”
Keaffaber brings experience in marketing, serving for the past three years of The Lakes Magazine, a Towne Post publication focusing on northern Indiana and southwest Michigan communities. She has also served in sale positions with the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Visit Fort Wayne.
The IFA said Skeen will support the organization in its leadership transition.
