160 Driving Academy opens new school near Muncie

Illinois-based 160 Driving Academy has opened a new location southwest of Muncie.
The national commercial driving school cut the ribbon on its Daleville location earlier this month with support from the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and other local leaders.
The new branch is located at 14301 W. Commerce Rd. in Daleville.
Officials with the driving academy say their training programs can help prepare drivers to enter a rapidly growing industry with more than 300,000 new jobs available for commercial drivers license holders.
The career path offers average annual starting salaries of $65,000, according to 160 Driving Academy, which pledges support to help place its students in jobs through its subsidiary, Truckers Network.
The new Daleville location joins other 160 Driving Academy branches in Connersville, Evansville, Gary, Indianapolis, Lafayette and South Bend.
