Parkview LaGrange Hospital closed amid air conditioning outage

Hospital officials shared news of the temporary closure in a press release posted to the Parkview Health website on Friday. The system said it expects the outage to last up to 48 hours.

Parkview Health officials say anyone seeking emergency care at Parkview LaGrange Hospital will be directed to a temporary emergency department in the hospital’s medical office which was not affected by the outage.
Patients have been transferred to other facilities, hospital officials said, and planned surgeries and procedures have been rescheduled.
Parkview Physicians Group clinics located in the hospital’s medical office are still open.
Officials say there are closely monitoring the situation and will provide an update when services resume.
