The remediation, restoration, and emergency response company has acquired Fort Wayne-based Water Out, though financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
MWR says with the acquisition, Water Out will now serve a larger footprint in Indiana with its emergency response, water damage, restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, sewage, and air duct cleaning services.
The company said Water Out customers will see no change in service or offerings. Water Out will retain its name, and management and operations will remain the same, MWR said.
“I am very excited for our team at Water Out to be a part of the MWR family of companies,” Water Out CEO Chris Laney said in a news release. “This is a great opportunity for our team members to have the ability to grow and better serve our residential and commercial clients through Northern Indiana and beyond.”
It was not immediately clear how many employees will be joining the MWR team. The company did not respond to a request for more information from Inside INdiana Business.
In addition to Indianapolis and, now, Fort Wayne, MWR also has a location in Lafayette.
