Tyler Truss acquires Indianapolis live event rental services company

Tyler Truss, based in Pendleton, manufactures truss structures for live events and entertainment.
The company is not publicly disclosing the cost of the acquisition, but a spokesperson told Inside INdiana Business that Tyler Truss plans to “substantially grow” the business with the additional of McGuire Scenic’s 20 employees.
“We are excited to add McGuire Scenic and its talented team to the Tyler Truss family,” Tyler Truss CEO Glenn Cleland said in a news release. “It’s a dynamic, growing segment of the entertainment production industry that aligns well with Tyler Truss.”
The spokesperson said no jobs would be lost in the acquisition.
McGuire Scenic was founded in 1995 by Don McGuire and Laura Perlman.
