KAR Global names new CFO

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowCarmel-based KAR Global (NYSE: KAR) on Monday announced Brad Lakhia as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer. Lakhia succeeds Eric Loughmiller, who retired at the end of 2022.
Lakhia most recently served as vice president of finance, Americas for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (Nasdaq: GT).
KAR CEO Peter Kelly called Lakhia a “skilled financial operator” who will be a “great fit” as the company expands as a digital marketplace company.
“He’ll bring a bold, strategic voice to our management team while deepening our culture of collaboration and accountability to further drive performance,” Kelly said in a news release. “And his diverse expertise and experiences will help inform and advance our investment priorities and strategy as we continue to simplify our business.”
In addition to his duties as CFO, Lakhia will join KAR’s executive committee. He will be based out of KAR’s headquarters in Carmel.
Lakhia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ohio State University and an MBA in finance from Case Western Reserve University.
