Six Indiana communities are finalists for events including basketball, volleyball, rowing and bowling. Finalist communities from the state are:
Indianapolis – Division I Women's Rowing
Terre Haute – Division I Men's/Women's Cross Country
Evansville- Division II Men's/Women's Cross Country
Evansville- Division II Men's Basketball
Indianapolis – Division II Women's Basketball
Indianapolis – Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving
Indianapolis – Division III Women's Basketball
Hammond – National Collegiate Division Bowling
Fort Wayne – National Collegiate Division Men's Volleyball
Fishers – National Collegiate Division Fencing
Indianapolis – National Collegiate Division Women's Water Polo

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA will be announcing the final host sites for 82 of the 89 championships from 2014-18. After receiving over 1,984 bid applications for future NCAA championship hosting opportunities, the final 523 championship event sites will be announced on NCAA.com at www.ncaa.com/site-selections.
WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. Eastern
WHY: A new NCAA championship bid process creates the largest host site announcement ever, spanning 82 championships across a four-year cycle. Previously, selection announcements varied by sport. This process now gives the NCAA and host sites more time to plan each championship experience.
