The ISP says it has signed agreements with eight new multifamily communities to provide internet and managed Wi-Fi services.
The project will expand coverage to nearly 2,500 apartment units, houses, townhomes and commercial spaces. The company is also planning to expand coverage at Discovery Park District at Purdue University, a 400-acre business launch pad.
The properties include: St. James and The Turnverein Apartments in Indianapolis, Midland Pointe and Federal Hill Apartments in Noblesville, North End Apartments and commercial space in Carmel, Union Square Apartments and commercial space in Westfield, Alder Woods Apartments in Greenwood, and Highland Park in Anderson.
“Hoosiers are seeing managed Wi-Fi’s growth in mixed-use and multifamily developments due to the excellent customer experience it can create with instant-on service and fast and reliable connectivity,” said Kelly Pfledderer, founder and chief executive officer of Haywire. “We’re thrilled to continue our growth across Indiana as more residents and property managers reap the benefits of a better way to get and stay online.”
Haywire says pre-installed Wi-Fi access points throughout each multifamily building allows individual tenants a reliable internet connection. The properties feature hardwired fiber-optic cable for each apartment unit.
“By utilizing fiber-to-the-unit and managed Wi-Fi, we are able to take one more worry off new residents’ plates by having the Internet ready to go when they move in,” said Adam Van Rooy of Van Rooy Properties. “Haywire has proven that setting up your Internet doesn’t have to be a frustrating, time-intensive process.”
The company, which was founded in 2019, says its managed Wi-Fi offers speeds capable of 2.5 Gigabit.
