Vox Global launches social change practice

Subscribe NowWashington D.C.-based public relations firm Vox Global is launching a social change initiative to help move people to action. Through the Vox Social Change practice, which is being led by members of the Vox Indianapolis office, the firm says it will support philanthropic foundations, nonprofits and state agencies, as well as leverage data from its behavioral insights practice, to identify audiences and understand their motivations.
Vox says its social change team will gather data and insights to craft relevant storytelling assets for use by other organizations. The team is currently working through the early stages of planning.
“We will combine our insights-driven approach, subject matter expertise and impact storytelling to change hearts and minds,” said VOX Global Managing Director Michael Marker, who is also serving as the VOX Social Change practice lead. “From initiatives focused on education, health equity and responsible technology, to programs geared towards conservation science, climate change and more, we will help organizations engage with policymakers, civic leaders and citizens to advance their important work.”
The firm says the initiative will help organizations address some of the most challenging issues of our time.
“While we have been a strategic communications partner to foundations, non-profits and government agencies for nearly 15 years, our new and innovative approach to driving social change is generating considerable interest from new and existing clients,” said Robert Hoopes, CEO of Vox Global. “We are seeing more and more mission-driven organizations wanting to expand beyond targeted giving into broad mobilization around shared objectives.”
Vox says specific campaign targets will include students and higher education, institutional policies that promote the responsible use of technology, as well as substance use and mental health disorders.
