(NYSE: HI) says the company wants to become the “worldwide leader” in industrial products. Joe Raver became CEO last month upon Ken Camp's retirement. Hillenbrand went public in 2008 and has diversified beyond its roots in funeral services to include four subsidiaries and $1.6 billion in revenue. During an interview on Inside INdiana Business Television, Raver discusses his vision for the company and its focus on attracting the best global talent to Indiana. Last year, Hillenbrand closed an approximately $545 million deal for its fourth subsidiary, Germany-based Coperion Capital GmbH.
It has joined with Hillenbrand's K-Tron to become Coperion K-Tron, which develops process and materials handling equipment.
Hillenbrand also operates Batesville Services Inc., Rotex Global LLC and TerraSource Global.
Raver is a Batesville native and has been with the company for nearly 20 years.
