The Software-as-a-Service platform helps companies lower shipping costs through its data analytics, technology and contract analysis. The company, which currently employs 25, intends to add 125 by the end of 2026.
Chase Flashman discussed the company’s growth plans in an interview on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick.
ShipSigma first detailed its expansion plans earlier this month.
“The demand has increased. We don’t work with a lot of the shippers that just started a retail business or the mom and pop [shop] and now went online,” explained Flashman. “We work with a lot of enterprise level customers, a lot of Fortune 500, or Fortune 1000.”
The company currently has 250 clients that ship anywhere from $100,000 to $100 million worth of products annually. Flashman says since its launch in 2018, ShipSigma has been successful in saving $92 million collectively for its customers.
With anticipated growth, Flashman says he needs to expand his staff. He says the company has been successful landing talent locally.
“We love the IUPUI School of Informatics. They’ve been a great pipeline for tech talent,” said Flashman. “We’re hiring data scientists, software developers, [and] software engineers.”
