Elevate says Titilayo (Titi) Obasanya will lead and advise entrepreneurs who want to start and grow a business.
“We’re thrilled to have Titi Obasanya joining the Elevate Ventures team,” said Jacob Schpok, Elevate Ventures’ chief entrepreneurship officer. “Her international experience as both an entrepreneur and startup mentor will bring a fresh perspective to Elevate Ventures and the Central Indiana startup ecosystem.”
Obasanya’s background includes work as a business and strategy consultant for the International Trade Centre, an agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization. Elevate says she also served as director of startups at Semicolon Africa, where she supported more than 20 first-time founders reach minimum viable product stage. Previously, she was an incubation analyst at Co-Creation Hub in Lagos and a consultant for Builders Academy.
“Innovation can come from anyone and anywhere, but we need more enablers of innovation in every country and city,” said Obasanya. “The promise of global economic prosperity is directly connected to how much we embrace entrepreneurship and how we prepare and position entrepreneurs to thrive, first in their community and thereafter region.”
Elevate Ventures began searching for an EIR early this year to meet increasing demand for entrepreneurial support.
