The Taylor will include 200 apartments and space for a 10,000-square-foot grocery store.
Flaherty & Collins says the studio, one- and two-bedroom units will attract young professionals and empty nesters.
“We are excited to partner with the City of Columbus and the Columbus Redevelopment Commission on this multifaceted project,” said Deron Kintner, general counsel for Flaherty & Collins Properties. “With an urban grocery, upscale amenities, a tremendous location, we really believe it’s going to be a great project for Columbus and future residents.”
The developer says The Taylor will feature modern amenities, including a community lounge with kitchen, tech lounge, and fitness center, among others.
“The addition of The Taylor to downtown Columbus is something our community has been seeking for many years”, said Mayor Jim Lienhoop. “We are very excited to see this project take its next steps toward reality and the amenities it will bring to both our downtown and the community.”
The Taylor is scheduled to open in the summer of 2023. Full completion is expected by fall 2023.
