It also factors-in ranking systems based on thousands of student reviews to develop the list, such as Cappex, Niche and Unigo.
The University of Notre Dame is the highest ranked school in the state, coming in No. 14. Purdue University enters the list at No. 48 and DePauw University placed 99th.
College Consensus says factors like graduation rates, enrollment, and job placement, “but so are intangibles like job market reputation and brand recognition.”
Topping the list is Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford, Princeton, Yale and Harvard.
College Consensus says regardless of size, location, form, or classification, these are the colleges and universities that have the best publisher and student ratings.
