The move will more than double Fabtration's current work force of 11. The company has already begun hiring.
The company plans to invest $4.2 million to greatly expand the size of its Floyd County facility. Fabtration says the growth will increase output and improve efficiency and equipment.
Fabtration was founded in 2011 and provides steel fabrication and custom automated machinery assembly, and recently began assembling thermal energy systems. It serves automotive customers throughout North America.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $115,000 in conditional tax credits based on its job creation plans. Floyd County is considering additional incentives as well.
