$21M Rail Warehouse ‘Asset’ to Indiana

The parent company of Venture Logistics says the new $21 million Venture Rail Warehouse and Distribution Center on the south side of Indianapolis will be an asset for the state. Jack Schwarz with Indianapolis-based Schwarz Partners LP says the 406,000 square-foot rail-to-truck facility, a partnership with Indiana Rail Road Co., will help make Indiana more competitive. Schwartz and Indiana Rail Road Co. Chief Executive Officer Peter Mills talked about the potential impact.
