Jobvite Inc. says it will grow the local office to more than 300 employees over the next three years.
The company moved its U.S. office to Indy following the 2019 acquisition of Canvas.
“Many of our valued customers and team members are based here. This city is a natural place for global technology companies like us to establish our home base,” said Aman Brar, chief executive officer of Jobvite. “We are excited to grow in Indianapolis while expanding our global customer footprint.
Jobvite says its technology uses artificial intelligence to help its customers with recruiting. The company says it helped Indiana-based companies make 3,000 hires last year.
As the company grows it will be looking to fill positions in product engineering, sales, marketing and finance.
“We believe Indy’s robust talent and tech ecosystem will be advantageous to our continued growth,” said Brar.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Jobvite up to $6.8 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. The credits do not get implemented unless Hoosiers get hired.
“We’re always thrilled to see tech companies choose Indiana to grow their business and their talent,” said Interim Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Staton. “Our thriving tech ecosystem and strong talent pipeline make Indiana the perfect place for companies like Jobvite to thrive for years to come.”
The global company also operates offices in Canada, India and the United Kingdom.
