Kinetic Advantage says it will invest more than $4 million to expand its corporate headquarters and create up to 225 jobs over the next few years. The company, which has already added 65 Hoosier jobs since July, says the expansion will allow it to grow its client base throughout the country.
Kinetic currently occupies 24,500 square feet of space in Carmel and the investment will allow it to add more than 34,000 square feet in the same building to its footprint. The company plans to have the expanded space operational by April.
“I’ve been involved in three startups in Indiana and have found that Indiana is a great place to build a business given the educated workforce, excellent work ethic and pro-business climate in Indiana,” Marty McFarland, chief executive officer of Kinetic, said in a news release. “I am thrilled to work with my Indiana teammates in building an employee and customer centric business.”
Kinetic uses its technology to “enhance the floorplan experience” for independent auto dealers, which it says streamlines the customer experience, increases flexibility and offers increased cost transparency around fees.
The company plans to begin hiring for the new positions later this year.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered Kinetic up to $5 million in conditional tax credits, which the company will not be eligible to claim until Hoosier workers are hired for the new jobs.
