North Carolina-based HEPACO LLC says it has acquired the Evansville-based field services division of Summit Environmental Services LLC. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but HEPACO says it the Evansville location will continue operations with its existing staff.

HEPACO provides environmental and emergency response services throughout most of the U.S. Summit Field Services specializes in emergency response, industrial services and waste management.

“This regional acquisition will immediately expand our ability to service additional clients across the Mid-Central and Midwest regions, and we look forward to providing expanded best-in-class emergency response and environmental service solutions to all our HEPACO customers across our growing footprint,” said HEPACO Chief Executive Officer Ken Smith. 

HEPACO says the combined company employs nearly 750 workers across 46 locations nationwide. 

Summit Environmental Services will continue to operate out of its Indianapolis headquarters.
