New Hope provides community-based residential and day services to Hoosiers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The organization says a majority of the positions are in group homes on the northwest and east sides of Indianapolis and in Hamilton County.
New Hope says there is a growing demand for Direct Support Professionals who assist New Hope clients. A DPS helps individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing and cooking/eating.
“DSPs have always been considered essential workers to our organization. Without them, we would not be able to carry out our core business of care and support for people with disabilities,” said New Hope of Indiana Chief Executive Officer Allison Wharry.
The nonprofit says it offers a host of benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, a retirement plan with employer match, tuition reimbursement and referral bonuses.
