In partnership with the Bowen Center, the state is looking for people to help with a long list of tasks, such as serving as substitute teachers, registering people for antibody testing, and making phone calls for contact tracing.
In March, the state issued a callout to all licensed healthcare professionals, including those who were retired, to help with the spreading virus.
Now in the tenth month of the healthcare crisis, the state is looking for additional volunteers for clinical and non-clinical roles. With most colleges and universities scheduling an extended winter break, the Bowen Center sees an opportunity to use students on break.
