Town Manager Norm Gabehart tells our partners at the Daily Journal an unnamed tenant has its eye on the facility and could bring up to 200 jobs to the area.
Gabehart says the company is not ready to announce its plans for the facility, which is why it remains unnamed. The council has also approved a 10-year real property tax abatement for the building, with a future tax credit also being a possibility, according to the publication.
The council voted in favor of rezoning a 123-acre property from agriculture to industrial. Gabehart says the warehouse would take up more than 70 acres of the property and be use for logistics purposes.
Gabehart tells the publication up to 30 acres is currently a wetland that will be transformed into a park area.
