Texas-based electrical wholesale distributor City Electric Supply is celebrating a major milestone. The family-owned company has announced the opening of a facility in La Porte, marking the company’s 500th branch location.

CES  invested more than $120,000 in the new location, which created 4 long-term jobs and ten additional jobs the company says were created through the build out of the new branch.

CES says La Porte’s high volume of industrial work and dense commercial marketmade the city an attractive location and hopes to service local business owners.  The branch is the company’s second in Indiana, folling a location in Valparaiso which opened last year. 

“We’re excited to have been able to open two new locations in 2019 in our territory, La Porte and Valparaiso. We look forward to future growth opportunities within the Northern Indiana market,” said District Manager of the Northern Indiana Group Jeffrey Williamson.

CES currently employs more than 3,000 people in nearly 500 branches across the U.S.
