The 105-year-old business also celebrated the addition of its automated drop off and pick up services.
Ziker Cleaners owner David Ziker, which operates eight area locations, says he hopes the new automation process will attract new customers.
“There is now a new way to drop off and pick up your dry-cleaning and laundry, day or night, any day of the week, 24/7, on your schedule not ours!” says Ziker. “Enter our remodeled and modern customer lobby and you will see the kiosk screen with simple navigation to walk you through the steps to drop off and to pick up. If you do want to continue to do your transactions with a human, a helpful host will be attending the kiosk during normal business hours.”
Ziker Cleaners was awarded an Exterior Enhancement Matching Grant through Downtown South Bend Inc. for its design and activation of a very visible corner.
Ziker added, “This new technology continues that tradition by giving you more control over your time.”
