Zac Brown Band To Headline Legends Day

Subscribe NowMulti-platinum, Grammy-winning country-rock group Zac Brown Band will headline the Firestone Legends Day Concert at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The seven-member band will take the stage inside Turn 4 on May 25. The concert will include other, unannounced acts and kick off at 3:30pm the day before the running of the 103rd Indianapolis 500.
“Zac Brown Band is a phenomenon, one of the most exciting, talented and popular live acts in any genre of music today,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “The band’s unique blend of rock, soul, country, bluegrass and reggae has incredible appeal to so many people and reaches a new level when performed live."
The band has several hits dating back to 2008’s "Chicken Fried" and "Toes". They join a race weekend music lineup that includes Foreigner and Kool & The Gang who will perform at the Miller Lite Carb Day concert Friday, May 24. The electronic music lineup for the Snake Pit presented by Coors Light has yet to be announced.
Legends Day presented by Firestone will also include the annual Public Drivers’ Meeting on pit road, drivers’ autograph sessions, and a memorabilia show.
