WSI Technologies makes acquisition

The company, which specializes in audio and video recording solutions for the public safety, law enforcement, courts and child advocacy markets, has acquired Edge One Solutions Inc.
Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
Edge One Solutions provides voice logging systems for 911 communication centers and contact centers, as well as interview room recording systems for law enforcement and child advocacy centers. The company serves customers in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
“Combining the operating history of Edge One Solutions with the significant depth of WSI Technologies’ technical and service resources is the logical next step in our history and will benefit every client we serve in the law enforcement, child advocacy and justice sectors,” Edge One President Todd Williams said in a news release.
WSI currently has 45 employees, and a spokesperson told Inside INdiana Business that the company plans to retain all Edge One employees with plans to add jobs in Indianapolis and the Southeast.
The spokesperson added that Edge One will be rebranded under the WSI name.
