The company says it has entered into an agreement to acquire California-based Provision Medical Products, though financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
Provision provides workplace first-aid supplies and service to help businesses stay in compliance with ANSI and OSHA first aid and safety requirements.
Wildman, which provides uniform rental, deep cleaning and other services for a variety of industries, says the deal will give Provision’s distributors the chance to grow into a larger market and diversify its revenue.
“Today’s market is unpredictable,” Wildman CEO Josh Wildman said in a news release. “Securing our own source of first aid supplies provides our customers and distributors with a quality partnership for the foreseeable future.”
Wildman said distributors will now have access to AEDs, eyewash stations, a complete janitorial line, and premium restroom dispenser packages in addition to first aid kits and an expanded first aid line.
Provision’s California warehouse will be consolidated into Wildman’s Indiana warehouse. Provision has five employees, and a spokesperson for Wildman said no jobs will negatively affected by the deal.
Provision CEO Rick Germano and General Manager Jayne Combs will continue to work with Wildman “for the foreseeable future” to ensure a seamless transition.
Wildman has more than 400 employees across its entire footprint. In May, the company acquired Michigan-based WM Uniform.
