Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana has hired Janai Downs as executive vice president of diversity, equity, inclusion and ministry. She most recently held the role of director of christian education and discipleship at Eastern Star Church in Indianapolis. Downs holds a bachelor’s degree from Butler University and master’s degree from Christian Theological Seminary.
