Three finalists named for vacant spot on Indiana Court of Appeals

The finalists are: Anna Mandula, a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP; St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Stephanie E. Steele, and St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Stephen E. Scheele.
Once the list of three finalists is officially submitted to Gov. Eric Holcomb, he will have 60 days to select one of them to succeed Judge Terry Crone, who is retiring after 20 years on the appellate bench.
Crone will officially retire on Nov. 5. and will have a retirement ceremony on Nov. 4.
The other applicants who interviewed with the commission for Crone’s job were: Allen Superior Court Judge Andrew S. Williams, A. Elizabeth Underwood, LaPorte Superior Court Judge Jamie Oss and Lake Superior Court Judge Gina Jones.
