(NYSE: THO) will ring the closing bell Monday at the New York Stock Exchange. The company will be in New York to celebrate the 30th anniversary of being listed on the NYSE.
Executive Chairman Peter Orthwein and President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Martin will be joined by other members of the company’s management team for the bell ringing. Orthwein says he is excited to celebrate this milestone in the company’s history.
"When we decided to list our shares on the NYSE in 1986, Thor was still a relatively new company, and now after three decades of hard work, we are one of the strongest recreational vehicle manufacturers in the world," said Orthwein. "This record of growth and accomplishment would not have been possible without our great employees, dealers, suppliers and business partners like the NYSE."
Martin says the company is looking back at a year of "record accomplishments," including the acquisition of Middlebury-based Jayco Corp., while looking forward to the next 30 years. The closing bell will take place at 4:00 p.m. Monday.
