The board of trustees has appointed a search committee which will be led by board chair Chris Goeglein and board vice chair Manuel Rosado, both Taylor alumni.
Haines announced his resignation in June 2019, saying he would step down in August. At the time, the university named Paige Comstock Cunningham interim president.
Taylor University is an evangelical, independent, nondenominational Christian liberal arts university.
“We ask our Taylor family and friends to pray for this search, and specifically that the Lord will identify and anoint the next President of Taylor University”, said Goeglein.
Taylor says applications will be reviewed until a selection is made, but candidates are encouraged to submit information by November 15.
