The company is seeking approval from the Allen County Plan Commission to rezone the land from agricultural to Business Technology and Industrial Park, according to the publication. James Federoff, an attorney representing Sweetwater told the commission it plans to add two new entrances with private drives to help ease traffic congestion in the area.
Federoff said employee traffic and large music events at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion have caused traffic backups in the past. He added any plans to build expansions on the newly-acquired property would still have to go before the commission or other county agencies.
