South Bend Parks to Host Summer Job Fair

South Bend Venues Parks & Arts is hosting a youth summer job fair on Saturday at the Howard Park Event Center. The department says it is hiring for a variety of positions, including social media and digital marketing, summer youth interns, and event center coordinators.
The fair will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The department says staff will be on-site to provide information, answer questions and help with applications.
“We excited to offer this chance for the community to meet our VPA team, see all the opportunities we have for employment within our divisions, and learn more about the Youth Jobs SB program,” said VPA Youth Employment Coordinator Kintae Lark. “This particular program is a great resource for kids to learn and grow while earning some extra income this summer.”
The job fair is intended to be an extension of the VPA’s Youth Jobs Program, which provides youth with community resources to become successful in the workplace.
