Current president and CEO Kevin Brinegar announced last March he intends to retire in January 2024.
The search for his replacement begins immediately. Medallion says interested persons should contact the firm by April 10.
Medallion will present a slate of candidates to the search committee, comprised of Indiana Chamber Board member. The committee will then select its top candidates for final interviews. The recommendations will be forwarded to the Indiana Chamber Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
“Finding an individual to replace someone of Kevin’s caliber and intellect is somewhat like trying to find a unicorn, but I – along with the rest of our board of directors – am confident that our collaboration with Medallion Partners will find exactly the right person to lead the Indiana Chamber into the next phase of its remarkable journey,” said Indiana Chamber Board Chairman Paul Perkins.
The organizations hope to have a slate of approved candidate in place by late summer or early fall 2023.
Brinegar has led the Indiana Chamber for 21 years.
