With over 17 years of nursing experience, Fife has focused on women’s health for the last 12 years as a family nurse practitioner, Riggs said in a news release. She previously served as director of clinical services and chief clinical officer for the health center.
“At Riggs, we believe in caring for the whole person and embracing the unique needs of our diverse communities,” Fife said in the release. “My goal is to ensure that every individual who walks through our doors feels valued, cared for and proud to call Riggs their medical home.”
Travis Duell, chair of the Riggs Board of Directors, said Fife’s prior leadership experience and knowledge of the center’s operations made her the ideal candidate to serve as CEO.
“Her vision for Riggs and her genuine connection to our team and the communities we serve make her the perfect fit to enhance our impact and foster a healthier future for everyone,” Duell said.
McQuade-Jones will transition into a part-time consulting role, supporting Riggs mission and initiatives.
Riggs serves over 20,000 patients across a 10-county region, including Lafayette, Lebanon, Frankfort and their surrounding communities. The center provides a range of services, including primary care for adults and children, prenatal and specialty women’s health, laboratory services, integrated behavioral health, dental care and retail pharmacy services to over 70,000 patient visits.
