Recovery Works treatment center opens in Martinsville

Recovery Works Morgan will provide therapy services as well as residential treatment, medically monitored detox, and aftercare support. The new facility takes admissions 24 hours per day, 365 per year, and will accept Medicaid, commercial insurance, and self-pay, according to a press release from Pinnacle.
The company says it hopes to have a positive impact on those affected by the Opioid crisis in
southern Indiana.
“The ongoing opioid epidemic continues to impact so many individuals throughout the state of Indiana. Patient care and treatment is needed now more than ever. Pinnacle is deeply committed to bringing care directly into the community to help solve this crisis,” Michael Lawler, CEO of Pinnacle Treatment Centers, said in the release.
Recovery Works Morgan is located within the Indiana University Health Morgan Medical Center at 2209 John R. Wooden Drive in Martinsville.
A spokesperson for the company could not immediately confirm the financial investment in the new facility and the number of jobs it will bring to the area.
Pinnacle also has treatment centers in California, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
