Subscribe NowThe chief executive officer of Leesburg-based Tom Farms LLC has been nominated by President Donald Trump for a globally-focused agricultural appointment. Kip Tom, who is also a managing member of the large-scale seed producer and grain commodity production business, is being recommended to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture at the Department of State.
Tom has served on the boards of directors for the Indiana Economic Development Corp., the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the FFA Foundation and the National 4-H Foundation. He has also served as a crop production consultant for businesses in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
