Michigan-based Pinkerton has added a downtown Indianapolis location to its list of nearly 60 field offices throughout the world.
Pinkerton says the Indianapolis branch will specialize in corporate investigations, risk analysis and security consulting for the entire state, as well as strategic support for the Kentucky and Tennessee regions. Eric Rose will serve as director of the Indianapolis office and will oversee its day-to-day operations.
"Opening a location in Indianapolis allows us to strengthen our presence throughout the Midwest and better serve our clients in this territory," said Rose. "We look forward to integrating our capabilities into this new market as we continue to expand our footprint across the globe."
A Pinkerton spokesperson says the Indianapolis office will eventually employ a total of eight agents. The company was founded in 1850 by Allen Pinkerton and was then known as the Pinkerton National Detective Agency.
