The company, which provides patient support services for life sciences companies, says it plans to add 500 jobs at its Jeffersonville and Louisville facilities.
PharmaCord’s platform is designed to help patients get access to prescriptions they need in a more efficient manner.
In 2019, the company detailed plans to invest $52 million to set up shop at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville and add 850 jobs by the end of 2023.
A spokesperson for PharmaCord said in an email to Inside INdiana Business that the newly-announced jobs will push the company past the original 850-job commitment. The company expects to have a workforce of more than 1,000 employees by the end of 2023.
PharmaCord says its expansion is driven by several factors, including the continued market growth of new therapies and its growing technology platform.
“Our growth in the life sciences commercialization market has also been a significant tailwind to the local economy, where we have created an average of over 100 new jobs per year,” Founder and CEO Nitin Sahney said in written remarks. “We look forward to continuing to expand our talented team in support of our explosive growth.”
Details of the financial investment in the new positions are not being disclosed. The company says it will be expanding parking areas at its facilities to accommodate the new employees.
PharmaCord has added more than 500 employees since its inception in 2017. The company is currently hiring for multiple positions, including benefit specialists, case managers, registered nurses, social work case managers, data scientists, software developers, support services, and operational management roles.
