Indianapolis-based Phalen Leadership Academies, an operator of tuition-free public and charter schools, says it is looking to hire 200 people for the next school year. The positions are not all in Indiana, as the organization operates nearly two dozen schools in five states.

PLA says it is looking for teachers, principals, support staff, and headquarters positions. In addition to Indiana, Phalen operates facilities in Ohio, Texas, Michigan, and Alabama.

“Our schools, our teachers, and our scholars have been equipped with the ability to conduct learning successfully whether online or onsite,” said Chief Executive Officer Earl Martin Phalen. “We need strong educators in the field now more than ever.”
