The company will next week mark the grand opening of its first TRP parts store and commercial truck service shop in the Hoosier State and create 10 jobs.
Palmer said TRP of Fort Wayne will provide a full line of aftermarket parts for trucks, trailers and buses, as well as truck diagnostics and repair. The company has invested $100,000 to equip the facility, located at 7006 Ardmore Ave.
The company said the facility will support small businesses and vocational work truck customers.
“We are excited to expand our Northeast Indiana footprint as a trusted source for commercial truck parts and repairs,” Fort Wayne General Manager Tracy Meyers said. “Having parts on-hand and ready maximizes uptime for owner-operators and fleets, keeping America’s goods moving to their final destinations.”
Palmer Trucks operates a network of Kenworth truck dealerships, including one in Fort Wayne that employs 70 people. The company has more than 700 total employees across its footprint, including 475 in Indiana.
Palmer operates two TRP parts stores in Kentucky and multiple Kenworth dealerships in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio.
