The Governor Bob Orr Entrepreneurial Fellowship, which launched in 2001, has placed more than 270 college graduates in full-time positions with some of the state’s top companies. The non-profit organization expects a new brand and website to position the program for continued growth.
The new website, orrfellowship.org, includes enhanced content about the program and success stories of current and former Orr Fellows.
The Orr Fellowship expects to recruit 50 graduating seniors this fall, its largest class to date. The deadline for applications is October 2.
Named in honor of former Indiana Governor Robert Orr, the program selects graduating college seniors and matches them with Indiana companies for a two-year fellowship.
In addition to hands-on experience and interaction with company executives, the fellows also participate in external activities, including monthly meetings with some of the state’s top business leaders.
"Our twelve year history has demonstrated our ability to attract some of our best young people and put them into leadership and entrepreneurial positions," said board member Mark Hill. "We fully expect our current recruitment efforts will continue this success."
