The list is based not on balance sheets and profit and loss statements, but rather customer feedback.
The publication ranks Evansville-based Old National Bank (Nasdaq: ONB) number 68, among U.S. banks. Chicago-based First Midwest Bank (Nasdaq: FMBI), which merged with Old National in a $6.5 billion deal in February, is ranked number 18.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to develop the list. Statista surveyed more than 45,000 customers in 14 languages around the globe for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships.
Banks were rated on general satisfaction as well as key metrics such as trust, fees, digital services and financial advice. Click here to access the report.
