The city of Lawrenceburg and Indianapolis-based Flaherty & Collins Properties have broken ground on a $32 million high-end apartment development on the banks of the Ohio River. Whiskey River will include about 150 units and nearly 180,000 total square feet of space.

Flaherty & Collins Lead Project Developer Deron Kintner says amenities at the development will include a resort-style pool, co-working lounge, bark park, dog spa and bike facilities. 

“Whiskey River will bring new residents to the area and with strong disposable income to make employee recruiting easier and help support the local businesses. These new residences will help drive the demand for further development in Lawrenceburg, creating an estimated $25,000,000 in economic impact,” said Kintner.

American Structurepoint is serving as the project architect and engineering firm. Flaherty & Collins says the project is expected to be complete by summer 2022.
