It’s also providing financial support in the form of marketing funds to local businesses that need help through the crisis.
The Times Media Co., publisher of The Times of Northwest Indiana, has announced the launch of its Local Marketing Grant program.
This program offers matching marketing funds to businesses in its coverage area whose livelihood has been impacted by the outbreak.
“While the COVID-19 virus has created change and difficulties for us all, the ability of our local businesses to market to their customers remains essential to their, and all of our, sustainability and recovery,“ said Chris White, president and publisher of The Times Media Co. “Our company’s greatest assets, by far, are the local communities we serve, and we’re firmly committed to supporting them through this grant program.”
The media outlet said it will provide matching advertising grants for use in Times Media Co. print and digital publications, as well as digital and marketing services.
The company said through its Local Marketing Grant program, it is “enabling small business owners to access a much broader portfolio of marketing products.“
The publication said grants will range from $250 to $15,000 each month and will be awarded in April, May and June.
