The Pharos-Tribune reports the former Marsh supermarkets on 14th Street and Third Street have been purchased by Paul Singh, who will re-open the stores as Gothras Neighborhood Market.
The publication reports Logansport Mayor Dave Kitchell made the announcements earlier this week and stated the North Third Street location would be remodeled and opened first, likely in late March or early April 2019. The Pharos-Tribune details Kitchell saying the 14th Street store had been under a letter of intent with Safeway, but that the deal fell through and Singh was able to close the purchase.
The Tribune further reported that Singh also owns land near the Third Street store where work is underway for a Marathon gas station.
